Lone Tree BoundariesThe City of Lone Tree is a relatively young city, incorporated in 1995. It’s location at the south end of the city, at the junction of two major highways, at the end of the E and F lines of the RTD Light Rail system, and close to Centennial Airport, has made it an very attractive location for business development. Park Meadows, Colorado’s Only Retail Resort, features warm architecture, a spectacular setting, and more than 160 stores and restaurants. Sky Ridge Medical Center is a state of the art regional medical facility with Level III trauma center, round the clock emergency care, and plans to expand from 252 to 335 beds. The new RidgeGate development is a mixed-use community with retail, dining, office and residential properties all within walking distance. Lone Tree has a population of 12,720, and an average household income of $104,787.

Lone Tree places a strong emphasis on providing cultural and recreational opportunities for its residents. The Lone Arts Center opened in 2011 and provides over 100 performances annually. The Lone Tree Recreation Center and Cook Creek Pool offer a variety of amenities and services. Lone Tree has many sponsored events and activities, including a summer concert series. In addition to its own extensive park and trail system, Lone Tree is adjacent to Bluff Region Park. All of Lone Tree lies within the boundaries of the Douglas County School District.
