Parker

Parker was a small agricultural community until improved roads began transforming Parker into a popular bedroom community for Denver. Incorporated in 1981, the Town of Parker is one of the fastest growing communities in Colorado and has more than doubled in size since 2000 to a current population of more than 54,000. Parker has a host of amenities for its residents, including a 500-seat performing arts center, a recreation center, 250 acres of developed parkland that includes an equestrian park, 27 miles of paved trails, and more than 900 acres of open space. Parker is served by the Douglas County School District.
