Castle Rock

The Town of Castle Rock is the county seat of Douglas County and is named for the prominent castle tower shaped butte near the center of town. Originally a small mining town, this community has grown rapidly in the past two decades and the population now exceeds 58,000. Located only 15 minutes south of the Denver Tech Center, many of Castle Rock’s residents work in Denver’s southeast business corridor. Known for its mild temperatures, beautiful scenery and rolling acres of buttes, mesas and nature trails, Castle Rock is a prime location for those looking for a smaller town residential setting and relatively easy access to major employment centers.
