The Town of Castle Rock is the county seat of Douglas County and is named for the prominent castle tower shaped butte near the center of town. Originally a small mining town, this community has grown rapidly in the past two decades and the population now exceeds 58,000. Located only 15 minutes south of the Denver Tech Center, many of Castle Rock’s residents work in Denver’s southeast business corridor.
