Littleton Public Schools (LPS) is the public school district that serves the City of Littleton. The district serves more than 15,500 children and is the only school district in the Denver Metro Area that is “Accredited With Distinction” by the Colorado Department of Education. The district has the lowest dropout rate and highest graduation rate of any school district in the Denver Metro Area. All three high schools have been featured in US News’ “Best High Schools”, Newsweek magazine’s “Top High Schools in America” and 5280 magazine’s “Top High Schools in Denver.” Niche.com ranks it the #5 Best School District in Colorado.
